![]() A lip liner definitely helps the dryness aspect. It feels dry pretty much as soon as it sets, but it doesn’t become uncomfortable until a few hours in. It’s generally unforgiving and doesn’t take too well to reapplication, but it’s pretty long-wearing (more or less 8 hours as long as you don’t eat anything oily or greasy) so touchups usually aren’t necessary. To recap, the original Ultra Matte formula is thin but opaque and for the most part applies pretty evenly. Limbo is the “classic” Colourpop formula (see: Tulle), but Stingraye got a revamped formula, and it is wonderful. These are all things I think are pretty safe and plummy but it's a good place to start if you're stuck!Īnyways I could go on forever but let me know if any of that is helpful lol.The formula is where it gets a bit interesting. Things I'd test if you have a Sephora: Kat Von D Exorcism, Bite Juniper. Have you ever tried: MAC Viva Glam 3 or Bobbi Brown Plum Brandy? The first a bit warmer than the second but I wonder if something like that would look nice. NYX Prague isn't warm but it is very bright so you might need something with less pop. ![]() Copenhagen is also warm but I can see how it is a bit more berry which olives tend to really like. So if those photos clicked for you then you probably are olive! You could also go through the best photos you have of yourself and see if you see those patterns.Īs for your lipsticks: Hutch is pretty warm.maybe too warm for you? Same for Lovebug, Avenue. You can see the models in the back are around the same level but the one on the left has a green sheen but the one on the right doesn't. Here's a group of models of different undertones.
